Uwharrie Cabins Policies
Check-In/Check-Out
Check-In time is 3:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time)
Check-Out time is 11:00 AM (Eastern Standard Time)
Smoking: No Smoking is allowed in any Cabins.
Pets: We do not allow pets of any kind. We do not allow boarding of horses or livestock.
Off Road Vehicles: Use of unlicensed off-road vehicles are prohibited at Uwharrie Cabin properties.
Firearms: Discharging any firearms on Uwharrie Cabins property is prohibited.
Tents or Tent camping are not allowed withour prior approval.
Reservations:
Upon procuring a reservation, Guest hereby acknowledges that an advance reservation payment equal to the cost of one (1) nights stay, including tax, will be required to reserve a vacation property with the remaining balance due in full Fourteen (14) days prior to the guests arrival date. Reservations made less than Fourteen (14) days from the arrival date are required to be paid in full at the time of booking.
Cancellations:
Guest hereby acknowledges that for reservations cancelled less than Thirty (30) days from the arrival date Guest will forfeit the reservation fee.
Reservations cancelled less than Fourteen (14)days from the arrival date Guest will forfeit the entire amount of the reservation.
Cleaning Fee:
We make a point to keep our Cabins and Property clean and comfortable for all our guests and respectfully ask that you leave the property in the same condition as you found it.
Prior to the Guest vacating the property (checking out) the guest will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
Wash & Put Away all Dishes, Place all trash (including lavatory trash) into trash bags & into outside trash container making sure to lock the lid down, empty ashtray on porch if used, place soiled towels/wash cloths/dish towels/dish rags in the provided laundry bag. Pick up around the outside areas that you enjoyed during your stay, such as the grill or fire pit.
Guest acknowledges and agrees that if the above tasks are not completed prior to check out that the guests credit card will be charged a minimum $40 cleaning fee.
Security / Damage Agreement:
Guest(s) is/are individually and severally liable and otherwise fully responsible for any and ALL Guest/Invitee caused damages to the property, including but not limited to all adjacent structures and premises throughout the entire duration of their stay of occupancy.
Maintenance / Hold Harmless:
Inconveniences under which we may have no immediate control and which DO NOT warrant any refund of rental monies include: (1) breakdown of television (2) power outages, (3) adverse road and/or weather conditions, (4) construction taking place in the area, (5) A vacation property that is not decorated and/or otherwise accommodated to suit the Guest's individual/personal taste(s). All Guest(s) and their invitees use the Vacation Property structures and premises at their own risk. Uwharrie Cabins, Inc., and its Property Owners (principals) shall not be held liable nor otherwise responsible in any way for injury to any Guest(s) and/or their invitees, that is caused or permitted to be caused by the intentional or unintentional acts of said Guest(s) and /or invitee(s), or by the failure of structures, appliances, furnishings, and/or other equipment, whether by malfunction, misuse, acts of God/nature, and and/or are otherwise naturally occurring. No guarantees are expressed nor implied regarding the fitablity/suitability/compatibility of materials utilized in the construction of the Vacation Property and/or it’s contents. Uwharrie Cabins Inc. and its Property Owners (principals) shall not be held liable nor otherwise responsible in any way for allergic reactions to it Guests and/or invitees, caused or permitted to be caused by materials utilized in the manufacture of the Vacation Property and/or its contents, nor from mold and/or airborne spores, nor from pet/animal allergens, nor from chemical agents including, but not limited to appliances, linens, carpeting, utensils, fixtures, and/or to their equipment. By endorsing this Agreement, Guests/Invitees hereby agree to forever hold-harmless and indemnify Uwharrie Cabins Inc. and it’s Property Owners (principals) from any liability/responsibility arising therefore.
